As I look at the maps and read the information available, phase 1 is the most important part for us up north!  When phase 1 is complete, we can leave from Pengilly and ride all the way to McGregor.  I got some pretty good email back from the county people so if you want more info shoot me an email and I’ll get back to you!

When this trail is done I WILL be on it!  I’m gonna make a weekend out of it and leave from Pengilly,  stay in Aitkin for the night and come back the next day!  See you on the trails!

It sounds like the 14th is for administrators and members but a public announcement is to follow. If anyone has more information than that I’d love to hear it!

At this point, I need to get away as it’s been over two months since I’ve been wheeling so this 70 mile trail would be a great place to break the ice!!!

The best info I have now is this is Phase 1 with 47 miles complete but I’ll be getting back to you.

Anyone else so the new Commander by Can-am yet?  Even comes with a 1000cc engine!  I have a link for you and its awesome!  Lots of videos, showes yellow and Camo but haven’t seen the red yet in a real picture.  We want one and by wife’s machine is up for sale for the deposit.  They won’t be in till September but that when I do alot of riding.

It’s been a busy early summer with Grad Parties and Work so I haven’t been riding much but looking at facebook and the other networks everyone else has been enjoying the Summer.  Check out the new Side X Side and I’ll update you on our next ride!  If you plan on attending the ATVAM Fall Convention in Nashwauk and you need any help with the area, let me know!!!

Maybe Thistle Dew trails and camping for the weekend…

The fair runs from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. on the 1st and from 9-4 on the 2nd.

The ATVAM ATV Fair features many top manufacturers, vendors & sponsors selling accessories, clothes & great riding gear. New this year will be the Used ATV Corral & you can even test your “dream” machine on the test course!

PLUS, be sure to check out the side-by-side mud races by the Northwoods Racing series. This will be the season opener for the 2010 Northwoods Racing series.

We are all meeting at Jim’s Sports Bar in Chisholm and we’ll leave from there on ATV’s.  The club gained a few new people already this year who love to ride and have a good time.  There is always room for more people if any of you are interested!  If not, you can still join us on the 17th…the clean-up only takes an hour and then the rest of the day is for PLAY.

The kick off to the ATV riding season for me is always Water Skips on Vermilion!  Last year we had 29 machines that left Fortune Bay Resort and Casino and this year I think we can beat it!  I’ve talked to a lot of different people this year that hadn’t really heard about it it now and they’re all in.  We start lining up and meet at the Marina (docks) at Fortune Bay about 10am and start heading across the lake at 11am.  Contact me for more information!

Its hard to get that nice of a day in January for ATVing so when you get it you have to enjoy it!
