So we’re talking about the new 70 Mile trail maybe that is supposed to run from Pengilly down toward Aitkin and Brainerd? I can’t find anything on the Minnesota DNR website about it yet so maybe its not ready? Anyone know? I’ve seen a few emails from ATVAM about it, I think they were gonna call it the Great Itascan Trail or something like that? I’ll do some more research Monday or Tuesday about it….

I’m going to check out Big Aspen. I found all the trail info I need right here but I find it curious that this trail is not listed on the MN DNR website nor any of their publications.
Does anyone know why?
I’m not sure why its not on the website this year? We were going to go there last fall and it never panned out but it was on the website last year. I’ll ask around, I think the Virginia/Mt. Iron club sponsors that trail so I’ll try and ask them maybe.
